Teacher

  • HeartfeltYou noticed the day I stopped raising my hand, and you never made a big deal of it. You just kept asking me small questions until I felt brave again. Thank you for that.
  • HeartfeltOur daughter used to dread math. This year she asks for extra problems at the kitchen table. Whatever you did, thank you for giving her that feeling back.
  • HeartfeltThis year was hard for all of us, and you showed up every single day with patience and a steady voice. Our class felt safe because of you. Thank you for carrying us.
  • HeartfeltFrom all of us in room twelve, thank you for the stories, the patience, and the days you made us feel like we could do anything.

What teachers say they keep

A note that mentions one moment: the day a concept finally clicked, the kind word on a bad morning, the book that started a habit. Name the moment and say what it changed. That is the whole trick.

From a parent or from a student?

A student can be short and direct. A parent can describe what changed at home. Choose which voice you are in the builder and it adjusts the wording. If you are writing for a whole class, sign it from the class and keep it brief.
